New CliffyB 0wnage Map, Deathball to 1.7 and SS:2845 legit

Greetings from your friendly neighbourhood Squirrel King, everyone. For my inaugural news post, I thought I'd quickly bring you up to date on some happenings in the UT2k3 community:

First up we've got a new addition to CliffyB's 0wnage Collection, DM-Purisma. Cliffy had some nice words about it and it looks like a worthy addition to your collection. Check it out for yourself here: http://www.planetunreal.com/cliffyb/

Secondly, the popular DeathBall mod is up to version 1.7 with a changelist longer than I dare print here! If you're up to the task of reading it, or just want to skip to the downloading, head over here:http://deathball.net

Finally, and I know this is a bit of old news, but if you haven't heard by now, I have the pleasure of informing you that SS:2845 (http://mechaware.mechnex.net/), a former up-and-coming UT2k3 mod, is now officially sponsored by Sierra as a mod for Tribes: Vengeance. This is quite an interesting development, as the mod could even be included in the Tribes: Vengeance release. Anyhow, I thought I'd start some conversation on this here topic by asking what you people out there think of this development and how it reflects, and could possibly affect, the wonderful Unreal mod community.
