A dim quiet spreads through the Unreal Community these days, as though a great storm is about to approach and we're all just waiting for it to happen. The storm has been identified on the horizon, and with it, a large amount of information shall be pushed out to us all in a very short period of time. But what is this storm you ask? The upcoming release in stores of Unreal Tournament 2004. Yup, right now is a very quiet time indeed, a time to set one's affairs in order before the game arrives and consumes your every waking minute. Because once it hits the shelves, you all know what will happen. Students will see their grades lowered due to "pushed off" studying time, those of us in the working world will cease to have any social life whatsoever save the ever gentle glow of the computer screen, and the rest of you? Well, you're either to young to be reading this, you're a parent-mooching adult and need to get a house of your own, or you're going to spend your retirement blowing away these n00bs the old skool way. Either way, it's sure to be one hell of a ride.

So yeah, I thought I'd be the one to bear the news that things may be a tad slow for a while around these parts, but have no fear, once UT2k4 is released and the community has had a chance to play with the new tools, you guys and gals will be overwhelmed with information! So enjoy your social life while you can, because once the game is released, you shall have none.

I'll hopefully be posting more later when my DNS server updates. If not, I'll see you guys next week when I can fully access the website, to give you some news on a project I've been working on.

LOL!

I don't even have my computer plugged in right now. I took it to a friends house to play UT2004 Demo over the weekend (15 hours over two days) and then set it up on the TV so we could watch ROTK.

BTW - ROTK is supposed to be released 2 months earlier than the other LOTR DVDs so it should be out very soon. The rip version is a tiny bit jerky but def watchable. I'll be getting the DVD right away, then the box set with the statuette when the extended version comes out.
