I'm quite shocked with this kind of information showing up in UnrealOps.
I am aware UnrealOps leaves its pages open to a certain amount of Off-Topicness.
When these off-topics are somehow related to video-games or are dealing with hardware or drivers so you can run the games in best conditions, I'm confident no-one would complain, but this?

Besides, World Champions? Since when the USA is the whole world ?? (I know it's how the NBA call their championship.)

Why is it you keep reading if you don't like the site. NO one's twisting your arm. It's his site so get off it already.

(Also, so you know....the news posts appear in the order they were posted on the site. That's why the patch wasn't at the top.)

(Also also, I know other countries play B-ball but how often have they ever won against a U.S. team in the olympics....B-ball is primarily a U.S. sport and that explains mostly why our teams have for the most part been better.....that's NOT to say that other countries don't have sports that they are traditionally better at over the U.S.. Because of this it's pretty safe to call them world champions.....unless of course someone wants to challenge them Razz

)

Yes shame on you guys. You should just copy everything Planetunreal and Beyond Unreal have on their front pages. FYI the reason you are seeing Detroit Pistons information on this site is because the webmaster is from Detroit and very proud of his WORLD, yup #1 basketball players in the world, champs. Part of this community is getting to know each other, which you obviously have not, not just posting links to information already on other strictly news sites.

No, Tycho only has to cover Hockey, "American" Football, Basketball, and Baseball, and only if it's a Detroit or Grand Rapids team.

I'd lay off of him, he's only posted one news topic when there have been plenty of chances to post numerous times.

Besides, Pistons KICK ASS!! Big Ben is awesome. Of course, I only start really watching Basketball when Hockey is over. Which, unfortunately, was a bit early this season.

So, you can all go back to watching your "World Cup", whatever the hell that is....
