Hi,
Fairly new to this. I have completed the basic tutorials on Unreal ed 2003 and created the underground level and terrain outside with a door that leads to it.
What I would like to make is a stand alone building, like a house or bunker sitting in the middle of the terrain. How do I go about this?

Is it just a case of creating a static mesh of a house in a 3D package?
I cant seem to find a tutorial on this. I am considering updating to 2004, is it worth it?

One last thing. Splinter cell and thief are based on the unreal engine but are in third person. Is it possible to do the same with Uscript?

You can use static meshes and ofcourse geometry for houses.
And with the I think it was the F4 button you can view in third person.
