Ok, now that was cool. I havea pair of broken 1980's PC speakers as my good ones blew... Anyway, they don't work right? I was playing with my new MediaPad, so I put my ear next to the speaker. Speaker>maxed out, windows sounds>maxed out, WMP>maxed out, ear by the HOLY SHIT! OW!

I was officially ear raped by my speakers. All I did was hit volume up once on the media pad. Now it all works fine! How good is that.

Bluetooth rocks to boot. It really works. I only have an apartment about the size of the Monicas from friends, slightly bigger (and with an upstairs but forget that for now). The farthest place (and with most walls) from the computer is the bathroom, so to the opposite corner. Sound up... And it is! Mute... It does! Man that rocks! And I can take my Num/MediaPad with me to the bathroom! Yes! All round well done to Logitech, whatever they did! (Oh and I can recieve E-mails/IMs to it in the bathroom too!)

Actually, that is one thing that has tainted the 100% reputation of Logitech so far. The MX9000 came with rechargable batteries that don't actually work. They arn't charging and the led won't come on, but if I change the batteries, it works fine... Shame really; they are still #1 though.

My MX900 that came with the keyboard didn't appear to work at first. I gave up on it, said it was dodgy batteries. Then I ran out of power (my own fault, never gave it a charge at all, not even initial) on my MX1000, so I knocked over the 900 and it works!

Result!

Not I can always have a spare mouse. How good is that!?!

Here's my only issue - I got a cordless keyboard with the MX700 I have right now, so I have one hub for the mouse and keyboard. If I get the MX1000, am I going to need to get a new keyboard so the mouse signals don't mix?

I can't find anything, anywhere to suggest that the MX1000 is Bluetooth compatible. Besides that the charging cradle is different. I have found however that if you turn on the MX900 in the SetPoint software then both mouse' work without having to change any settings because the MX1000 is PS2, while the MX900 is USB but turned on through the software.

The batteries for the MX900 must have been original factory dead, as they took over 48 hours to charge, but they now work; so be warned people.
