After several years of playing the Tournament and finishing Doom 3, Half-Life 2, and most of Far Cry I decided to try something a little different. This weekend I purchased Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. It is the second title released using the Source engine and I have to say that I am having easily as much fun as Half-Life 2. I don't usually play Role Playing Games but the theme and real time combat using both first/third person perspective made me curious. If you are looking for something a little different try out Bloodlines. With the 7 different Vampire clans and numerous abilities I see a lot of replay value in my future. I do have to warn you that there are a couple of performance issues and bugs, but the game itself redeems these problems in my opinion. For more information visit the official Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines website and check out one of the better reviews courtesy of Yahoo Games. Incase you are wondering how good it looks check out this screenshot of Jeanette
Dragon Rage is kind enough to fill in for my this Friday so I will see you guys next week. |
