Electronic Arts, a company that is being seen by many people as a monopolistic imperical software company that drains the creativity out of the games they make, has recently bought the ESPN brand name for 15 years. What this means is, anyone who has any hope of playing an awesome sports game is pretty much SOL. I'm personally not a big sport game player, but this combined with the exclusive NFL contract that EA secured some weeks ago means that EA is slowly taking over a corner of the gaming market, and a very large one at that.
I find EA's actions as of late (especially the beginnings of a hostile takeover of Ubisoft) to be rather... erm... uncouthe, to say the least, and I want to know what our readers think. Comment, please! |

I only try to understand how the nice companies let this monsters eat them, is it cose they get big money and sell their baby? or they stay and get better money if they join? or it works differently, i mean are the monster companies real evil? |

I am a strong addict of Papyrus' NASCAR 2003 and we in the NR2003 community think that we will still be playing it in the next 2 years because of its unbeatable physics and multiplayer support. EA doesnt make sim games. It make games for the crowd, like NFSU.
I hate EA since it took over Westwood Studios. |

Exactly my point, HK - what was better - Tiberian Sun, with its involved story, full cinematics, and awesome plot, or Generals?
I think that answer is clear. |
