Well Matt Frary of Atari confirmed what I had been thinking for a while now. UT2004 is officially delayed until next year.
"Atari and Epic Games announced today that the release date for UnrealTournament 2004, the highly anticipated follow-up to last year's smashUnreal Tournament 2003, has been moved to February 2004."Well for those of you that haven't tried Halo PC now is the time. |

I am glad they are this straightforward and to be really honest i am glad they delayed the game. I hope this extra time will enable Epic to make the game even better. |

Not sure. According to the devs its "soon", but otherwise we dunno. Personally, I think it'll probably hit around the same time as the Xbox Unreal 2 release, which is supposed to be early December. |

XMP sucks in comparison to Halo. maby it beats the MP side of Halo (IMO it's not even close) but it doesnt beat the SP side of it. U2 SP with all the fancy graphics was even below Halo's Sp, although the U2 Sp was good in certain parts........ not many....... but certain parts.......
The only thing about Halo is that they stole the Flood from HL.

On the other hand, Max Payne 2 makes the whole bunch (Halo, '04, XMP and Half-Life have been mentioned so far right..?) look like kiddies' games because it's a properly adult game only without porn (well only soundbytes anyway ) and with somewhat less than an SoF level of carnage. Not to mention the best game this year (or in the next 6 months from the look of it). Shameless plug, I know, but this is one game you seriously need to at least play through at a friend's house. |

With all the lag, how can you even tell? Halo's multiplayer is meant for a console and it shows. The gameplay online is horrid and unoriginal. It's like a low-budget FPS game online. |

my vote goes for Midnight Club 2
not halo, not half life, not max payne 2 (its cool tho) not XML (wtf is it anyway?)
you should try MC2. dlaod it or buy it. it kicks ass!  |
