Before we get into the next video I just want to let everyone know that we set a new single day record for visitors. The previous record was 5268 earlier this year by the Devastation Demo day. Yesterday thanks to some non-Unreal site referrals, we pulled in 8152 visitors! Can you tell people are starved for a cool new game? Enough babbling on to the Raptor info.Today video is a short one but it shows a couple of cool things. First of all it shows the Raptor itself (some of you may have already seen it in the Gamespy video) and also the newly skinned Shock Rifle. It is the weapon that Dave switches to at the end of the video.
Finally we have some good news and bad news about the screenshots. Mark Rein emailed me yesterday to let me know they haven't forgot about our screenshots. He wasn't happy with the ones that were taken at the event so he is having Cliffy redo them. However Cliff is at an Atari press event until Sunday so that means we won't seen any new screenies until next week. However I will hold Mark to this promise and if he doesn't produce them we will rag on him like we did back in the day.

Lookin good! I've diein to see that raptor in some serious action for a while! Pity they don't have the model fold its wings down right after takeoff, that woulda been a sweet-as effect to add.
All I can say safely at this point is.... BRING ON THE DEMO!!!!! I wanna try out onslaught! |

that crashing looked fake imo. Everything else looked sweet, i am also dieing to play the demo, or rather the final game. Bring it on !!! |

The new Shock rifle looks sweet. I still don't like the new HUD, though. |

it's called WIP (work in progress). I like the window where you select your spawn... well at least that it has a window. |
