if they release the demo too early then anticipation for the actual game might drop. It happened with XIII.

The same thing will happen as did the release for version 1.0 of Steam (the program that you get counter-strike through....) they said "before Friday" or before Saturday or wahtever, and it came out minutes before midnight of the specified day...

Regardless, I won't be happy, I'm still stuck with my PIII 733 MHz..... Mad

Speaking of which.... since UT2003 works.... just..... on my computer, will UT2004 too? I've gotten conflicting reports, first saying that a 1GHz or 1.5GHz CPU is needed, but then I go over to UnrealTournament.com and it says a 1GHz is needed for UT2003 (which is isn't since it works on my 733MHz...) and the same for UT2004. So can I expect UT2004 to perform similarly on my machine to UT2003??

(I should note that I turn all the graphical options to absolute minimum and run the game at about 20fps, heheh....)

ut2004 will be a bit more demanding.

supposivly 04 should be able to run better on the minimum recommended hardware for 03 better than 03 did. I wont touch that comment with a 20 foot pole untill i test it out though....

they are changing the engine and I doubt they are making the game worse and I doubt even more that they are taking all this time and not polishing

Wednesday. Video games and movies always come out on Wednesdays or Fridays. Even talked to epic in chat last night, and he said that however it isn't confirmed, but that would be latest it would come out.

200Kb/s = 25KB/sec

200000KB/25KB = 8000 sec = 133 min = little over 2 hours

Yep I assumed Kb
Too many people get em confused as it is, and with nerdier people advocating KiB and MiB it's even messier.
