pathetic, now you know Smile

just annoyed by the fact that you, admin, have to tell everyone about your financially problems with everything you write, so pack your problems together and get a life Smile

Hm, interesting stance there. I posted that bit of news, and I don't recall ever bringing up my "finanically problems" before in the news. And I wasn't even bringing up a problem, per se, rather posting some information for the couple of my clients that visit this site, that I prefer cash to checks.
Get a life? Please, look in the mirror, you immature little prick. I have a girlfriend, two jobs, I mentor a 3rd grade child, and I'm lead singer in a band. I have a life. That's why I don't respond to every little thing you say. Look at yourself - you come on forums, don't use your name, don't admit to who you are, and then try to flame a bunch of people you don't know. That's rather pathetic. I suggest you take that rather large stick out of your ass, and when you can walk without being mad at the world, get a life.

Oh, and by the way, I'm guessing you're either within the United Kingdom or in a country settled by them (Australia, New Zealand), since you used "shite". Either that, or you just made another typo. Either way, I think you'd be wise to learn how to speak the language. It's "f-i-n-a-n-c-i-a-l" problems. Not financially.

Looks great. Smile I’ve played through most of the game like it now. You just don’t need the resolution, although if you can get it, great.

Erm... Anyway...

Back on topic, I just reduced my Halo graphics resolution to 640x480 for the biggest performance boost I’ve witnessed. Those shaders must really take their toll at higher res.

hmmmm, i might have to try that out. i'm getting slowdowns during each battle i fight. it kinda sucks. and i got a decent setup, but i just got in more mem (boosts me up to 1GB) and hopefully that will help

What is your setup like Mr. Brownstone? Card? Processor? Ram?

Barton 2800+
GeForce3 Classic
1 Gb DDR333
2x 40 Gb Maxtor
19" Sony Monitor

Yes, 640x480 looks fine on the monitor. I found a noticable performance difference between that and 1024x768, and even 800x600, especially in firefights.
