uuh what do you call it in swedish? I think I've heard about it but I dont think Iceland has it (so I doubt US has it) |

We had it two weeks ago. It is called Memorial Day weekend.

I know only that my birthday is today and tomorrow is first day of summer:E

No that is not at all the same thing !
Memorial day is when you honour the soldiers who died in wars , isnīt it ?
Midsummer holiday in Sweden is about celebrating the summer and have a party. There is different rumors about itīs true meaning in the past but Iīm not even going to go into that since many people havnīt even herd the rumours and for me to say which one is true would just be stupid.
