Well, seems I'm the only person doing news here... don't know where everyone else went, so I'll try to pick up some slack.Anyway, I finally downloaded the Deus Ex 2 Demo, and as many of you out there are probably doing, I whined. I was upset with the bizarre mouse lag, the semi-unresponsive controls, and the various performance issues.But man, do I give kudos to Warren Spector.Seems that the boss man over at Ion Storm decided that rather than being like some companies and sitting back when something really sucks (*cough* EA *cough*) he felt he should lend a helping hand. That there link will take you to a thread on the Ion Storm forums about the demo and its flaws. Spector acknowledges them and also addresses them, with tweaks and fixes for many. I'm going to go try them out right now, and I'll be back later with some more news. |

dito. tink the demo sucks too. the thing that you only have one ammo for all weapons and that there is no damaga system on characters makes it unplayable for me. the dem tweaker makes it a little bit better. but it still sucks. waiting here for the second demo. won`t buy dx2 before i played the second, because i dunno if the full game sucks like the demo.

yeah well the demo was very dissapointing in fact  but I trust them and I think they will make it all good ^^ let's not give up on the game just yet and remember Deus Ex was so freaking amasing let's not try to compare those 2 because well, Deus Ex is just too good  |
