An advid Slashdot reader, I stumbled across this article that is stateing that our beloved Master and Slave terminology for Hard Drive configuration might become no longer kosher. Seems in the world of the politically correct, people get their hair all ruffled up at the mention of it. Or well, atleast one LA County seems to. They've now ordered all companies working within that county to remove the reference from their product before they can continue production of it. *sigh* Sad sad world this is coming to. |

PC has truly gone too far. To screw with g33k terms? Jesus, what's next? CD and DVD drives no longer allowed to be called Optical because it might offend the blind? |
