This is just speculation at this point but it is juicy none the less. NvNews is reporting possible specs for the upcoming NV40 video card chipset. I was disappointed at the yields of the NV35's and the fact you can't get many of the 5xxx series FX cards. Ati has been running all over NVidia lately. I have been holding off on buying a new FX card because they just aren't worth it. If the specs on the NV40 hold true and combine that with the fact this will be the first batch made by IBM Fabs, NVidia finally may have something good on there hands. Only time will tell as long as they do it before Halo PC and STALKER come out! |
