Man oh man talk about some kick ass news! A big thanks to Blue's News for this one. The Star Wars Trilogy is being released on DVD this fall, September 21 to be exact. Check out the link for more detailed info on the 4-Disc Set. |

This is far from "kick ass" because it looks like it will only be the SE versions! Those are horrible!!!! |

Dear Guest,
I could care less which version as I look at it this way. I have been waiting for 6 years for it to come out. Besides I would rather have the digital updated ones on DVD more anyways because could you imagine what the older cut would look like? Bleh. |

I'm not a member even though I come to this site about 10 times everyday lol I'll try to sign up soon.
As far as I know from reading the 75 page long thread on the offical Star Wars forum, they are the SE versions. I really don't like the SE... at all, and won't be buying them if it's true. I just don't like how the movie was changed some. I still have the LaserDiscs of the theatrical versions, and I'll just have to keep using them.
Maybe I'll get lucky and the DVDs will end up being the orginal, but I highly doubt it |

You have to wonder why it's taken The Moustache so long to get SW onto DVD... I remember being pretty astounded when I could only find Eps 1 & 2 on Amazon a few months back. You'd think Star Wars would be one of the first movie series(es?) to get the DVD treatment... ho hum, I'm not getting too worked up as The Empire Strikes Back is the only SW movie I actually like, and that's mainly cos of Vadey. |

4-6 (the old ones) will be in that box.
1 & 2 are already on DVD, and last I heard ep 3 will be gracing movie screens in Spring 2005. |
