Before I get on with the gaming news, I just have a small announcement that I would like to share with all you fellow gamers:
I've been accepted to UGA, one of the best universities in my state here in the US, and with a full scholarship, I'm going to go for a dual major - computer science and artificial intelligence. A friend of mine who went down the same path I'm about to take a trek on ended up doing a mod for UT for his final in his CS class. With UT04:SE arriving soon on my door (thank you, Nikki!) I can't wait to start watching those UED videos and getting started on rolling out The Crimson Epoch.

congratulations!
hope you have alot of fun and learning there.
and check that your GF orderd it right.. women are not always that smart when it comes to computers. dont say your GF is dumb.. but just check in case  |

AI is alot of fun. Much better than writing accounting database code for Banks. If you do it well it's a good path into very interesting jobs.
Neural Nets, Genetic Algorithms, Prolog, Lisp... |

She orders more stuff online than I do... in fact, I think the last thing that I ordered online was something for her :-p
