FarCry, a nifty little game from Crytek Studios, has recently gone gold, adding on to the list of Battlefield: Vietnam and UT2004. Looks like 2004 is going to be a good year for us gamers |

I highly recommend everyone to try the demo for this. Other than UT2004, it's the only game that's managed to get me psyched for quite a while now. Just bear in mind that you should use a Thief style of play rather than an Unreal style of play... |

Maybe you just shouldn't bother getting the special edition? It's only really useful for people who feel they have the potential to be amazing modders/mappers. Everyone seems to want to get their hands on the SE, but if mapping isn't your forte, you pay all that extra cash just to get a metal box. Personally I'd rather get the bonus artwork that's apparently going to be in the CD version. |

Isn't that pretty selfish, considering there's only something like 6,000 copies of the SE in existence? Even if my DVD drive was working, I'd leave it alone because there are others out there who might actually make some use of it. An SE in the right hands might mean another talented future Epic developer. An SE in a fan's hands is just likely to get sticky . |
