very comfortable and easily worn. The mike is really easy to operate and easy to position and sensative enough to pick up what you need. |

s'okay. Haven't tested the mic out, but the speakers have a quite a bit too much midrange for me... Producing a harshness tinny sound at high volumes.
But then again, for the cost, I would say they are pretty good  |

dam, i just spent $300 on a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort2's.
they have no mic, but it's gonna be hard to lower my standards to some $25 headset.
I think i'll just tape a head mic to my Bose, and call it quits.
(i probably shouldn't have bought the SE  , and left it for some needy guy out there  ) |

from what i understand those headphones are really comfortable and produce excellent sound 
but i dont think taping a mike to the side would be a good idea  get a lapel mike and just clip it to your shirt... unless you dont wear a shirt while gaming... but then i dont want to know that |

Throw that Bose junk out, man! You can use authentic UT2004 Headset!! Come on, get with the program, become a FANBOY!
Lapel mic is great idea, and cheap too.
I like the headset though I haven't played the game yet to try them, I like that the cord has a volume adjustment and mute switch. |

I may try a Sennheiser next. I'm on my 2nd pair of Bose Triport headphones. They sound really really nice, but the frame is not upto par (cheap plastics). Especially if you have a big head ..
It's happened to me twice. The first time I sent it back and a month later I got another pair... This time I just fixed it up myself, but it's not pretty.
I've debated on the QuietComfort series, but after my troubles with the Triports (150$ pair), I'm not too keen on spending 300$ for a pair that might break later on  |

dont tape a mic on, it will disbalance the headset.
i dont have SE but i do have the headet, got it a year ago i belvive. and eys it rocks, iv been saying that since the day they sayed SE will have the mic in it.
ps. i dont got SE.. i got normal.. and i hate it!! |

If you got the headset already and don't build levels, there is no good reason to get DVD except for not having 6 CDs. You get the same funky Atari stickers in both. I wish they were UT2004 stickers. |
