I found this nice little nugget of a preview while waiting for my hot cocoa to boil. has a nice writeup on John Carmack's GDC Keynot Speech. Believe it or not some of our young Unreal Fans don't know who he is. Mr. Carmack is one of the few people (Tim Sweeney being one of the others) that I feel are the founding fathers of the First Person Shooter. He doesn't do interviews and is one of the hardest people in the industry to get a hold of. So I highly recommend reading this article to get a glimpse of what he thinks is going to happen to gaming over the next few years. |
