Could you guys list some of the realistic combat mods that are going to be released for UT2003? BTW I have been reading the site, I just get confused about what is UT vs UT2K3. Any help and links would be great!



BTW since we have been focusing on mods here at UO I think a seperate forum would be appropriate.

we should have some way to distinguish the mod. maby ty can figure something out

humm I'm actually the mod specialist here with -dp-, I had a preety big article with some of the cool TC mods but Tycho deleted it... should I post it on the site? there aren't many Realistic TC mods for UT2 and btw if I say UT I mean UT and UT2 I mean UT2k3... we here are not going to say UT for both games I assure you that. the realistic TC mods I can take out of my head are... Majestic 12, Jungle Warfare, Strike Force, Face Off... humm

I posted a topic to ask Tycho to get someone to list the mods, types of play, patch version required and where to download them from. Lets keep on him to get this job done. There is no other authority for Mods and the like, this place could be it....

- Infiltration 2.9
- The Third Reich

Realistic mods for UT'03 ?
There's only one : Red Orchestra

The rest may have 'realistic looking' weapons, but that's all they have.
I mean ... since when did a regular weapon feature a magical floating crosshair ?

At best they have CS-level realisme ...

true... totally agree Jafo... if I would make a mod I would make it a SP without HUD and stuff, make realistic damage system, no crosshair, like kind of a cape or stuff that makes outlines of the screen and just some hvy realistic stuff, with this engine we can

I wouldn't make a realism mod because RO is good enough and there are plenty of other crappy ones.

I would make a futuristic mod!

I would make a SP realism mod tha would be focused on realistic movement and stuff

no one would play because they don't play games to move slow and gross like a normal human.

well how many mods are being played? RO that is suppose to be very realistic is the most popular. I would be trying to get into some game development possision rather then trying futally to make a mod that ppl actually play

well you can't rely on people playing anything you make...

I focus on making things I would want to play, which doesn't include things that are overly realistic. RO reminds me of MoHaa for the Unreal Engine.

In Exion MOD you can destroy the many walls, bridges, barrels, ...
