the face off team has been busy with work, the alpha of their FaceOff modification for UT2003 has been released. You can download it in ZIP and UMOD files over here.
Beyond Unreal will have a couple of mirrors up in a few hours. |

thanks, i waited until this morning to see if you or lalli would post it and when i saw you diddn't, i did it myself
lalli and i were talking about it last night and he said he was talking to one of the developers of it, i think he was getting a interview. |

Ok , I sent him a mail about it. To bad I didnīt knew. Anyway this mod is great and itīs not developers, itīs a developer. Itīs amazing , this guy did this by himself

That guy really did awesome job alone.. He deservers to be in some company and get paid for his skills... MOD is really cool. |

Yea the mod is realy nice and Iīm pretty sure that he will get some prizes at the contest and also get contacted from a few companies.
Iīm looking forward to see the future of this mod.

Faceoff is a jewel of a mod. The botpathing is a little off, damn bullseye quit tking me, but it is super fun. The weapons are really sweet and the whole health/ammo station works out really well (didn't they say UT2K3 would have these?). I think the author will get picked up by a game company really soon if not already. If you like realistic combat, nice levels, really detailed models, and the Unreal Engine this is for you! |

I'm most impressed with the xemitters, the when you shoot the sign in Kakaban (or whatever it's called) the sign moves and of course the fuel canisters and much more... just freaking amasing coding and effects |
