Most of you are quite familiar with the upcoming Tribes: Vengeance, but a lot of people here aren't quite familiar with the games that started it all - Starsiege: Tribes, and Tribes II. These team based games really took the world by storm, especially Tribes II. Jet packing around and using vehicles to assault enemy bases was probably my favorite past time for a good year, back in the day. And to think, some people never got to experience that?

wasnt there plans a while back for doing every game like this, so people can try the FULL game for 7 days, and the pay via th einternet.
no more going to the shops, CD's laying around. damn must be an american idea.. no insults, but c'mon..
maybe theyr testing it to see how it goes. |

no you dont have to pay for the CD key, you just have to have a Fileplanet account (i dont think their pay account is required)
i wonder if this is the fully patched versions of the games..... |

Tribes appears to be version 1.8, not 1.11 (eleven), so you'll need to get the patch for that which can be found here
However, I believe Tribes2 is pretty well patched up, not sure yet.
But all in all, VERY nice to see these. I've got 2 copies now on CD of the dual-free-release (gotta love CGW  ) |
