You should have his name memorized by now, but just incase you have any doubt who did this interview, it was none other than CrashOverwrite. Shocked? I'm not, this dude never seems to sleep, he's always out interviewing a MOD, a Map Maker, or heck, the squirrel next door. So, what's his latest interview? He's managed to tackle the guys over at the Fraghouse Invasion MOD for a juicy interview, and it sounds as though the guys at Fraghouse were happy with the release of their version 2.0, as quoted from the interview:

Crash: You just released the version 2.0 for UT2004. Are you satisfait with your work and the feedback?
Parser:Considering we have other duties and real life, yes, we are fully satisfied with the work we put into it. Maybe one or two areas we would have liked to have modified, but to be honest once it's released, it's released. The feedback has been mixed. Some people just don't read instructions and are moaning about the mod support system, and some people have been great - they've given solid feedback and have asked sensible questions.
Crash: Do you think that your work for UT2004 is better than the work for UT2003? And if so, why?
Parser: Yes, we like to think of UT2003 and UT1 as our "training games", and since UT2004 has a bigger community, we can now release good work to a bigger number of people. |
Always nice to see developers who are actually proud of their own work, to often there is a release made, and then a mad rush to release another because of things that have been "forgotten".
