Well it looks like the maniac of interviews, CrashOverwrite is doing some freelance work! He just finnished up this one with the Maxed Out team, but he did it for ModnMod this time!

A: First of all, to all, bullettime is just plain slowmotion. Its not ment to be as an advantage for a single person.
So for the duel gamemode where 2 players face eachother to fight they can both activate slowmotion because there just with the 2 of them. Now with a dm/obj/tdm map with lots of players this system sucks ofcourse (players get slowmo somewere in the map when they are alone for example) so we thought of an area based slowmotion system. Slowmotion is cool when its activated in action, to give ppl more time to react (to dodge and to shoot better) so when do we have action then? Well when there are for example more then 5 ppl in a room it will be activated. We are already trying to script this, its still a bit buggy but we have good hope that this will work. |
