Well not really but closer that you and I will ever get. Our arch-nemisis John Carmack's Rocket Team has managed their first milestone. This past week they managed to not only get their project safely off the ground but back to earth as well. Head on over and take a look! Now if we could just get Tim Sweeney to run for president of NASA. Hmmm... |

Another team in the race has managed to send an Astronaut into sub-orbital space and return safely. Their next milestone would be to manage the turn-around time required to win the prize.
These trips are solely personal flights. No cargo capability has been designed into the spacecraft. |
