A little early on Monday's news but that is because I have to get to bed soon. I have to get up early to do food inventory and open the store. Damn responsibilities anyways! I took my father to see Chronicles of Riddick tonight. I had seen it already but he hadn't and thoroughly enjoyed it. I think it is one of the best movies so far this year. What is your favorite movie so far this year? Discuss. |

i loved that movie, personally it coulda been a little longer... but it was one of the most realistic sci-Fi movies i have seen in a long time. I actually believed this could happen sometime |

The eyecandy was absolutely amazing, and as I said before, I don't think it'd be to far of a stretch before we start seeing maps based on this work. However, I did think the plot could have used some work, some more twists or something would have been welcomed. Also, there were imho some hokey moments that took away from the movie, like the whole "who kills better" thing. But overall, still a very good movie.
Best movie so far this year? Hrm, I'm not sure what I'd give that title to. Being a fan of classic horror movies, I loved Van Helsing.... but I think if I had to nail it down, I'd say Shrek 2 is my choice for best movie thus far this year.
But then again, this year has many more movies coming soon that look to be great... so opinions will change as time moves forward, but for now, Shrek 2 takes it for me. |

Puss In Boots owns you. Simple as that. If you had a leviathan, a redeemer, and godmode on, he'd still own you. He's that cool. |
