Yahoo is reporting that Philips Electronics has launched the first 16 speed DVD writer that can a burn a disc in less than six minutes. Man that is fast! Now I wonder if Dell, the first customer of the new DVD burner, will be selling them in Dell systems only or as a separate component? Hopefully both I don't want to purchase anymore OEM computers. 16x DVD speed.. god damn..
iv seen a very very new JVC system, it can record on a harddisk from TV right away, or on a DVD, and got laods of other options, we might buy it late this summer, but that only has 4x speed.. i thinbk.. but i also thought it sayed 4 mins for burning something.. maybe thats couse its already converted theh files. i duno.. |
