I happened on this by clicking on a link at 3dGamers, and wanted to share it with you all. According to the web site, the Windows XP Game Advisor can "Find game information including demos, trailers, screenshots and updates and determine if a game will work on your Windows XP powered computer before you buy!". This actually sounds like it might be a handy tool for people who don't know their PC inside out and aren't good at reading SysSpecs. I do recall a couple of times in forums where people have asked if a game would run on their system, and not had a clue for figuring out themselves. Will this do the job?

If you really can't read the system-requirements on the box and compare them to your pc then you shouldn't be playing games on a pc.(period)

That's what consoles were made for and that's what pc's are not even close to achieving no matter how much money Microsoft & Dell & co would like you to believe.

A quick testrun showed that GameAdvisor is stupidly optimistic.
It also neglects to mention that the 'bonus' for UT2k4 won't run if your OS isn't XP ...
You'd definitely get more & better up-to-date info from the community-section in UT2k4 or a site like BeyondUnreal.

So your best bet is to get to know the real news/community-sites for the game(s) you like.
