well, my friend found this site called freeipods.com, and he told me about it. and a couple of weeks later(last week), I come over to his house and find him with a 20 gig ipod. Im like, how much did it cost you? he says it was free. I was like, stop lying. He ended up proving it to me that the freeipods site sent him his ipod. I was amazed. I managed to dig up an article on wired.com about them:
here it is:
http://www.wired.com/news/mac/0,2125,64614,00.html?tw=wn_2culthead
So i signed up today. It works by you completing an offer, and getting 5 other people to sign up with your referral link and complete an offer
If anybodys interested in doing this, please sign up via my referral link:
http://www.freeiPods.com/default.aspx?referer=8498690
Ill pay anybody like 8$ if they wanna sign up with my refer link, i wanna get that ipod lol.
You need to be 18 or older, and need to live in the USA.
if you sign up, set your hotmailfilter to low/check your spamfolder for their activation link. I suggest you use a secondary email. |

It doesn't work, because there's no way in hell that all the people that sign up can find 5 referrers !!!
That's the basic problem in any pyramid-scam. Sure it works for the ones in the top-tier that start the thing, but the ones at the bottom can never ever make a profit. |

lol, it works as long as you can get 5 people to join and sign up with your referral link and complete the offer...but yeah...the people that join with your link will have a hard time finding people to join via their link. |
