College life is crazy.
Without treating the front page here as a blog, I just gotta say that I'm glad that today is Wednesday - it's the only day I don't have to be up at 6:45 to get ready to walk to my Japanese class. That's the biggest problem with being at a really big university and not having a car. But, I would say my money is well spent.
For those of you (which is not very many, granted) that are wondering about the late and great Alienware PC that is supposed to be mine in the near... uh, past... yeah, I know it's now almost a month late. However, I did recieve in e-mail from the company last night informing me that the issue was in fact, not Alienware's, but PNY, who was sending them the PCI-E GeForce 6800 Ultras. Apparently PNY didn't manufacture enough boards to meet demand, and so the video card for my PC (the only component the company does NOT have yet) is on back order. I was given an estimate of September 30th of when my PC should begin actual production, which means I might end up getting it by mid-October.
*EDIT* Alienware just called me with an offer: I can switch out the Nvidia card for the ATI X-800 XT PCI-E for free and also get $95 for making the switch, and they'll ship the PC in 12-14 business days. Needless to say, I agreed. A kick-ass video card is a kick-ass video card, and it wouldn't kill me to have an ATI card.

O snap nice, ehhh ive been with ATi for a few years now.... i havent had any problems with games. But nice score  hope to see you in game soon |
