We got a message from the Troopers team the other day, and as promised, here is the patch for release 4. Version 4.1 comes in three forms: a .zip update for those who already have the release 4.0 Umod, a full 4.1 zip install and a separate dedicated server install with the sound and texture data ripped out to decrease the overall file size.

Unless major problems arise, this will be the only release until version 5. A lot of work is going into the next release already to bring Troopers even more content and fun. So come join the Galactic Civil War, and drop by irc.gamesurge.net #ut2004troopers if you have questions or problems, or just want to hang out. Also be sure to drop by our forums and let us know what you think along with bugs that you find. I will also take this time to announce that a Troopers mapping contest is in the works and prizes are being gathered, so if you want a head start on the competition now is the time to get going. It will focus on our Objective gameplay with the best use of both vehicle and ground combat. |
