Well I have some very somber news to report. Binary and the rest of the team at the Proving Grounds have decided it is time to retire from the community. After five years of pain, pleasure and moneyloss they are hanging up their gaming hats. While this is very depressing it is the beggining of a trend I see continuing. With the success of online console games and the ever-expanding range of good multiplayer games out there I think we are seeing the end of an era.

Gone are the days of fun gaming ladders and getting excited about which night you could play your clan match on and not affect your job, girlfriend or family. Back in the day when I played UT CTF for more than just fun I had the pleasure of using PG while I was in Clan UO, UAK and CU. During my time playing there I never had a problem with the admins, website or anything in general. Like Binary and the others I understand what kind of commitment it takes to run a major gaming website. I want to thank them and wish them all of the best in their future endeavors.
