Is it just me or are Tuesdays slow news days? Anyhow, if you've been following the whole Greece games ban situation then you'd know that while the ban on video games that do not result in profit has been repealed, it's still a rather frightening situation that our beloved pastime became involved in all this. The newest development in this whole situation comes as the European Commission has deemed the ban to be an infringement of "EC Treaty provisions for the free movement of goods and services and the freedom of establishment." If you're an avid student of law and an even more avid gamer, as I am, you might find this article over at The Register to be worth a look. |
