The good fellows over at Xboxyde are reporting that Halo 2 may provide cooperative play via Xbox Live.
On the australian version of Xbox.com, you can find a very interesting flash animation (see captures). That's not an official confirmation yet, but it seems a lot like it

Could this game get any freaking better? I am about the shit myself. I have been ranting on Unreal Ops for sometime about the lack of coop first person shooters. This development could very well lead to the temporary retirement of my PC. Head on over to Xboxyde for the other two screenies.
