I downloaded and installed the CBP1 rerelease. I am certain the files went in the appropriate folders.
Yet when I go ingame and try to play the maps (instant action or host), they are not in the list! They are nowhere to be seen!
I checked my ut2004.ini file, and find no reference to any of the map names. Does the game not check the maps folder on startup and add them so they are playable?
What the hell is going on here? Am I supposed to add them manually to the ini file?
I'm not much of a DM player, and prefer team based modes. Yet I wanted the maps just so the game is complete and up to date. Since the pack doesn't come in a umod format, I can only assume they should simply be extracted and then be available ingame, but they are not.
I am at the point now, that I'll re-download the CBP1 (I deleted it), and exrtract it to another folder so I can go into the UT folder and delete them all. What a pain in the butt.
Judging from the dates of the posts here, I don't expect a reply any time soon. But if anyone has any idea what I can do to make these maps show up, or point me to a forum that is more active, I would be much obliged. |

Have you checked the bottom of the map list? New ones always go there first |

uncheck only offical maps perhaps |

I did a search for cbp1, nothing found in the ut2004.ini file.
I fired up a dedicated server, and logged in webadmin, and the maps appear there. I added all maps to all game types, and the maps appear in the utserve.ini file, but still don't appear ingame with host or instant action. I just want to run around them and have a look.

god i got to instal that CBP 1 to.. i can then play with myself all day!
