who here knows MySQL? i need to ask something.
iv got a website for someone, and they want to be able to alter text on the website. now i was wondereing, where do you store large amounts of data (text and numbers) the varchar is only 256 MAX (characters). so what do i need to use?
for example, what field is this message stored? someone who got total control over the website should be able to check that.
i would be realy gratefull.

ok  thanks alot. now i also understand why this forum doesnt support alot of spaces.
example:
::[ ]::
i typed 6 spaces in between the [ and ]. but the MySQL field removes em. |
