Well I just got done reading a post about Childs Play, an online wish granting community for the needy children of the Seattle Childrens Hospital:
Quote: |
Last year, gamers around the USA pitched in and donated over $250,000 in cash and toys to the Seattle Children's Hospital.
This year Child's Play is expanding to help Children's Hospitals across the United States. Each star on the map below represents a Children's Hospital that needs your help. Selecting one will direct you to that particular hospitals Amazon wish list. Any items you purchase from that list will be delivered directly to the hospital you selected. Also be sure to choose the shipping address to the hospital instead of your own! |
I dont know what a worthy cause sounds like when I read one, but this is probably as close to it as I will ever come. Please help the good people brighten a childs day with the joy and happiness of a brand new game to help them get their mind off their disability. Click here for the above mentioned map. It looks like our own Epic has descided to contribute too! Grats to them! |
