Gengamers recently released some news about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl's demo. I know a number of you are following this title, including Tycho, so I decided to post this. It looks like we will get a chance to play S.T.A.L.K.E.R.'s demo one month before release.
Quote: |
* We found out that even if the game will be ready in December, THQ won't publish it because of HL2 release. PROF added by the way that THQ is afraid of many things He also said that the demo-version will be presented the month before game release date (like FarCry). |
Great, we get to test out the goods before purchase!
In the same post I also learned that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. will require about the same hardware as Doom 3.

Good news for those who don't have enough money for upgrade: if you can run and play DOOM3 on your PC, you'll be able to play S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
PROF has a 2.1GHz CPU and a NV40 (256MB) videocard. He said "In STALKER it's a full graphics with high fps". |
The news is getting better all the time. Between the beautiful X-Ray engine and the real time weather system S.T.A.L.K.E.R. should rock. We will try to keep you up to date on all news and the eventual demo release. Check out the full post by visiting GenGamers.
Finally, if you are looking for some new screenshots of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Gamespy has updated their gallery. |

America's Army check
GTA:SA np
BTW I rented it on PS2 and it is a lot of fun. But the true fun won't begin until we get a PC copy. The PS2 is a horrible machine.
NFS:U2 & MC:3 ? I am not interested at all but if there are some other readers that would like news speak up and we will see what we can do. |
