How happy is Mark Rein right now? In a bit of sad news for gamers out there Valve announced Half Life 2 would be moved back to Holiday 2003 from September 30. I can't believe Epic's luck on this one. They have dodged a second bullet. in as many weeks. Now the only direct competition to UT2004 is Halo PC. |

Im really glad about this one, as no game(s) have been as flexible and mod-friendly as the Unreal series have. The mutator feature alone should have made UT the dominant mod game, lets hope UT2k3/2k4 impresses enough to get and keep people on this platform cuz UT definitely deserves big recognition for its commitment and contribution to the mod scene. But yeah, hopefully HL2's system reqs qill also keep people modding for UT by making UT2k3's reqs seem low in comparison |

i personally dont know why people think that they are competing against one another, yah maby for the first month or so, but after people buy one and save up some money they'll buy the other, UT2004 is mainly MP and HL2 is mainly SP. me personally will buy them both as soon as possible. |
