Well it is time to continue on with the news extravaganza! First up we have the following cool news from the Red Orchestra Team.
If you aren't already aware, the Red Orchestra team - responsible for thegame that has won Phases 2, 3 and 4 of Epic's Make Something Unreal contest - has just released a Map Pack to enhance Release 3.1. This map pack updates a number of the maps, following on from comments and feedback from players and reviewers over the last month. It also adds one more official map to the pack, created by Epic staffer stuman. This was not included before, as staff members from Epic were not permitted to contribute in any way to MSU entries. So now you can see what one of Epic's own can achieve using Red Orchestra as the "engine"!
For further information on Red Orchestra: Combined Arms, jump over to our website at www.redorchestramod.com, file mirrors for the new map pack are on the front page. The whole website is in process of getting an overhaul and will shortly catch up with the mod itself - more on that story soon!
I am hoping to have some time over the holidays to check out this Mod myself. I have heard some very good things about it. |
