Hello everyone, be glad that you didn't have to move during a snow storm week. I am finally moved into, what hopefully will be, my last move before I buy a house later this year.

What a week it was, all of the snow that fell, a North-East Super Bowl matchup, and the resignation of the FCC Chairman, Micheal Powell. Talk about a love-hate relationship with that guy. For every good thing he did for the Net he did other things that I completely disagreed with. What a bummer start of a year for the Powell Family. At one time I thought that Colin P. would be the first black US president. Long shot of that happening now.
The biggest bummer of the year so far has to do with death. What is it with death anyways? Just when you think things are going get back on track in the universe, we have a Tsunami and the passing of one of the greatest 'sit-down' comedians of our time, Johnny Carson. It is very cool to see all of the Net paying it's respects to him. In hour of him I will put an sealed envelope to my head and predict, 'There won't be another late night talk show host like him.' |
