Once again another movie week came and went and I finally got to see a comedy. I must say that Meet The Fockers was very funny and definitely worth seeing with a date. However that is not the reason for this post. That would be the news of the Sin City movie trailer being released. For those of you that don't know, Sin City was an independent comic that was created by one of the greatest comic writers of present-day, Frank Miller. Frank's influence can be felt all of the way into the summer with the release of Batman Begins.
What is different about this movie is that it follows the idea of Sky Captain in that it is made almost entirely in front of a green screen (special effects screen). I personally haven't got a chance to check out SC but it comes out on DVD this week I think. Enough movie babbling let's get back to the news. |

SC was excellent, very well done...
at times i really thought that the sets were created in-studio.
it was VERY realistic |
