Want an El-Cheapo PC that cant do anything except go onto the net and some basic word processing? Well the AMD PIC (Personal Internet Computer) is for you!

What does the name mean? Well its part of AMD's new marketing strategy, 50x15, to get 50% of the world exposed to the internet by 2015. And this will be the workhorse of the plan. Heres the specs: AMD Geode™ GX processor (333mhz), Integrated DDR memory (128mb PC 2100), Audio controller, 4 USB ports, 10GB 3.5" internal hard disk, Internal 56K v.92 modem, Stereo headphone/microphone jacks VGA and modem ports. |

hmm. its cheaper then my grapics card. even with all included mouse and monitor and such

i guess their hoping that there will be ISP's in the major cities for them to hook up to (or they can pay the long distance charge and dial into the net taht way) |
