IGN is reporting that Deus Ex and Thief game developer Ion Storm is closing shop.

Eidos plans on centering its activities around the talented console developers Crystal Dynamics in San Fransico. They plan on adding 50 new staff members and may incorporate Ion Storm’s former members. Hopefully, in the end Ion Storm's staff will continue to develop great games.
Crystal Dynamics is currently working on a new shooter Project: Snowblind. According to Gamespy, Snowblind was originally going to be the next title in the Deus Ex series. From their preview it looks like a lot has changed. |
