Starsiege? Yes, that's right, the MechWarrior style game based in the Tribes universe has found a new life! It appears as though Sierra is officially sponsoring the total conversion mod for Tribes: Vengeance, known as SS:2845. An official total conversion mod being designed while the game itself is still in development? These are good signs indeed folks.
While checking out their official website, I ran across a news posting linking to this thread, which shows off some of the models and weapons they've got planned for this mod. Definately some great material!
So, wheather you're a fan of Foot fighting, or Mech battles, it appears that the next in the great line of Tribes games will have something to offer you! It's a great time to be a gamer! |
