Now with the site being so busy over the last 6 months I haven't really had time to get caught up on the hardware side of things. I did get a chance yesterday to check out The Tech Report's preview of the Athlon 64s. First of all this article is probably one of the best I have read in a long time. It is explained well and covers some nice details without losing your attention. The thing that excites me most about this chip is the new memory controllers. They are now built into the chip itself! That means some seriously fast access times.  Head on over and check out the rest of the interview. Can you say 64-bit UT2004 gaming soon! |

Epic is going to sell ALOT of Athlon64s for AMD.
Maybe eventually one to me too. |
