| Epic’s Joe “DrSiN” Wilcox dropped by the Atari Forums to give some small details on Mod-compatibility between UT2003 and UT2004:
 
 Most maps will work right out of the box but there may be an issue with texture clamping on some sky boxes. It's a minor visual issue. Also, there is new static mesh collision code so any old mesh package will have to be converted on load which takes some additional time. Map authors can reissue their maps/packages by loading them in the editor and resaving them. Then there is no longer a need to auto-convert them.
 
 Most mutators will probably work right out of the box as long as they don't implement UI. Anything with new weapons will have to under go some minor changes as will anything with UI.Check the Atari thread for comments.

 I would hope so... 44megabytes isn't very much for a demo...
