 So psychology, sociology, education, and more are all useless? That seems a bit.....left field, lol. It's only silly if it doesn't work. And I'm telling you it does. These kids are learning how to construct their own knowledge instead of being fed facts like an ATM dispenses cash. I would think that everyone would be for that.....even you. This form of education is thanks to some amazing studies by the social science community. So when you say it is silly, I find that a bit shortsighted.
Social Sciences are helping people with so many things. Without it, we would know nothing about those with disabilities and how to help them. We would know nothing about disorders or mental problems. I have ADHD and the fact that I finally understand I am not a messed up freak and that others struggle with it as well, makes my life soooo much easier. Knowing what I have has made all the difference in the world. Before, I thought I was just a mental case. I am currently reading a book called "Driven to Distraction" and it's tips and stories of others have been such a help. If you read some of the stories you wil lhear how they too were so relieved at simply finding out what it was that caused these symptoms. Now, it is not an excuse to simply blame ADHD for your problems but it sure as heck helps you create a way of living that works with it. So something that helps that much cant be bad......or silly.

You'd rather we spent more time fixing the world instead of trying to understand the world. Ever stop to think that in order to fix things you must understand it better, first? If I want to fix my computer simply saying I want to fix it won't do a thing. However, if I spend the time to try and understand my computer I can better handle the situation and fix it.

Fire needs oxygen basically. Fire is the chemical reaction between oxygen and other flammable materials after they reach a high enough temperature. I'm not sure how much (if any) oxygen the sun has but that matters little. Most of what happens on the sun is forms of nulcear fission and nuclear fusion; neither of which need oxygen. |

Fusion of hydrogen atoms is what makes the sun. Plain and simple. |

yeah... I say we start to send hydrogen tanks over there right now
DR (you have the same capitals as my BF clan's clantag ) : yep... the BANG takes energy, the energy could only be in nuclear fission or just from the things in the mass... so by every bang it takes some mass for the energy? bwahh... I think ADHD comes from that we are too dependant on each other so depending on another person ain't the best way and don't get me started on drugs . sociology is mostly telling us what we are doing and what we were thought our whole life... just putting them in text. well I'm not sure if I'd categorize education with these subjects but it's very edgy for me because we always "use" education from other humans or just expirience. |

yep "dirty nukes" are very easy to make....
get a few pounds of tnt. some uranium-t36 (i think)and some plutonium.
detonate them all together and you have a really big bang |
