lol lalli,
i just found all my cds for ut2k3, installed the game and for some weird ass reason, it runs amazingly smoothly will all the stuff maxed out at 1024 x 768 on a 750 mghz 256sdram gf4 ti4200 machine. i have no idea why because when i tried the game a year ago it lagged like friggin crazy at the beggining. *thanks direct x 9  * |

Thats quite odd Alpha.
Just about everyone I've spoken with has thought the 2004 demo is what UT2K3 should have been. |

yes but then when the demo came out i uninstalled it because i needed the hd space
ps: ive played the demo more, set my fov to 85,found out how to savely get out of the raptor so now im content with it, yes it does feel more ut ish but i still think it lacks a soul  |

the soul lacking will be fixed when you get the full version. Unfortunately IMO you cant get the "true feel" for the game unless you play the other maps in the diff gametypes. I thought the same thing when i first played it at the UU. But once we changed maps and i discovered what "teamwork" can actually do for Assult and ONS i truly thought that the game had come alive. |
